Description of building:

The building is an immovable cultural site recorded in the Central register of cultural sites under R.č.Ú.s. 1-758 / 2,3,4 and is in the heritage site reserve in the capital city Prague, declared by government regulation no. 66 / 1971 Coll., on heritage site reserve in the capital city Prague.

The building of the existing residential house originated with a partial extension to the church of St. John, abolished under Josefine reforms, and with a partial extension of the west wing after 1820. The structures of the former church are preserved in the existing body of the house, including the oldest parts of the Romanesque rotunda; of younger phases structures from the crypt to the original late Renaissance - early Baroque rafters have also been preserved. Such a state can be considered on the territory of the historical core of Prague as significantly unique, similar houses were demolished within the scope of various redevelopment, or the churches in them were cleaned up to a greater or lesser extent of success.

Success from the viewpoint of heritage site care:

In the building Šporkova 3, čp. 322 all historical structures reminding us of the dramatic development of the building have been preserved, from the parish church to branch church to the residential house. The most valuable parts of the building are, from a heritage site viewpoint, the timber church structure, fragments of the rotunda and fragment of the western triangular gable of the former church.

The Baroque rafters of the building and its facades have been very delicately restored. The former floor covering of soil (an early Baroque rafter) has been completely restored and presented. Opening windows have been restored into the yard of the building.

During renovation of the building there was a find of evidence of previous structurally-historical phases of the Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque periods.
