25.10.2018 — Poslední říjnový víkend se letos ponese v jednoznačném duchu. Hlavní město čekají velkolepé oslavy založení Československa. Můžete se tak těšit na nebývalý program zvláště v centru Prahy. Mnoha akcí, které pořádá pražský magistrát, se můžete v sobotu zúčastnit na Václavském a Staroměstském náměstí, ale například i na Ovocném trhu. Využít budete moci také speciální aplikaci Prague Histories.

2.5.2017 — Nadační fond Praha ve filmu Prague Film Fund, který hlavní město v prosinci loňského roku založilo na podporu vlastní pozitivní prezentace v zahraničí prostřednictvím filmové a televizní tvorby, obdrží dar ve výši 10 000 000 Kč. Příslušný tisk předložený radním Janem Wolfem schválilo Zastupitelstvo hl. m. Prahy 27. dubna. První výzva fondu k předkládání žádostí o nadační příspěvek byla otevřena 1. května 2017.

12.5.2011 — Hlavní město Praha ve spolupráci se Zoo Praha uspořádá v sobotu 28. května již druhý ročník charitativní akce Běh pro gorily. Jedná se o akci zaměřenou na podporu goril ve volné přírodě. Stovky lidí v maskách těchto velkých lidoopů poběží od Pražského hradu na Staroměstské náměstí.

10.12.2019 — The Botanical Garden's greenhouse in the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague offers you a unique opportunity to discover the history of Christmas in all its glory. You can go back to our ancestors' times to see how they decorated their Christmas trees and how they made nativity scenes. You will also be able to create your own Christmas ornaments and decorations in the workshop.

10.2.2020 — The northern part of Prague Botanical Garden has recently been adorned with twelve large-format photographs. These are award-winning shots from the 'Zahrada vašima očima' ('Garden through Your Eyes') competition.

31.12.2019 — For the past ten years, Prague Botanical Garden has been running a unique project called 'Kořeny osobností' (Roots of Personalities), where important public figures plant a rare tree on 'Stezka osobností' (Trail of Personalities). The hundredth tree has recently been planted.

23.7.2020 — The palaces in Prague are opening after the coronavirus closure. The Government of the Czech Republic will open the unique Liechtenstein Palace on Kampa Island to the public on Saturday the 25th of July.

Manifesto Smíchov aims to pump life into the beating heart of the Smíchov community and has prepared a wonderful weekend for its visitors, encouraging them to rediscover its charm.

20.11.2019 — From the 21st to the 24th of November, Bio Oko cinema in Letná in Prague will be a meeting place for lovers of Polish cinema. The 'Bardzo fajný' festival will not only offer new Polish movies, but also literary discussions, and food tasting of Polish delicacies.

14.2.2020 — On the 18th of February, the La Película festival will start in Prague's Světozor Cinema. For six days viewers will have the opportunity to delve into Spanish and Latin American films. This year, the festival will focus also on Cuban history.
