29.2.2020 — Prague Conservatory invites you to an incredible musical experience on the 2nd of March, when you will get the chance to enjoy the composer Camille Saint-Saëns's works in their representative hall. Students of the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) organised the concert. They formed the orchestra and they will present three instrumental compositions by the French master.

19.1.2019 — Podkarpatská Rus (Carpathian Ruthenia), an exhibition of photos by Bohumil Vavrouška, will be open in the Josef Sudek Gallery, a branch of the Prague Museum of Decorative Arts, until 27th January 2019.

31.10.2020 — 'Dvě tváře Prahy', meaning Two Faces of Prague, is a competition in which the participating photographers capture either the positive or the negative aspects of Prague. An outdoor exhibition of 23 winning photographs on large panels can be seen until the 5th of November in the pedestrian zone of Na Příkopě Street. The theme of 'Dvě tváře Prahy 2020' was Wenceslas Square and the surrounding area, and all types of photographers took part: adults, young people, children, keen amateurs and professionals. A total of 720 images were sent to the competition, the most in its eleven-year history.

31.8.2005 — Praha jako moderní velkoměsto má co nabídnout i náročným turistům Město, které má nejen okouzlující minulost, ale nabízí i nové atraktivní formy trávení volného času, dynamický život a návštěvnický luxus srovnatelný s ostatními evropskými metropolemi – taková je Praha, o jaké by měl vědět každý zahraniční turista. Takovou Prahu představuje v tříminutovém spotu, na plakátech a dalšími propagačními prostředky reklamní kampaň, kterou si metropole nechala připravit od agentury Euro RSCG Prague.

31.5.2024 — Magistrát hl. m. Prahy společně s destinační organizací města Prague City Tourism spouští od 1. června 2024 novou komentovanou trasu nazvanou Nová radnice – páternoster tour.

11.5.2004 — Rada hl. m. Prahy dnes schválila přijetí finančního daru ve výši 8 236 Kč, určeného na opravu Karlova mostu, od společnosti MIKI TRAVEL PRAGUE, s.r.o.

11.5.2016 — V prvních třech měsících roku navštívilo Prahu 1 288 136 domácích a zahraničních turistů. Téměř 14% nárůst oproti prvnímu kvartálu předešlého roku je podle Prague City Tourism ovlivněn také velikonočními svátky, které jsou faktickým začátkem turistické sezóny a které do české metropole přilákaly kolem 200 000 hostů. Nejvíc turistů tedy přijelo v březnu, výrazný nárůst klientů však ubytovatelé zaznamenali i v únoru.

16.5.2014 — Kühnův dětský sbor se připojí k oslavám Roku české hudby duchovním koncertem ve výjimečném architektonickém prostoru. Posluchači se mohou těšit na duchovní díla Jana Křtitele Vaňhala a jubilujícího Jana Klusáka.

31.3.2020 — Prague Zoo is closed to the public due to the pandemic, but life inside goes on through the zoo's new YouTube channel. According to director Miroslav Bobek, the zoo is functioning without any major issues. Roughly a third of employees are still working, taking care of the animals and basic operations, including curators, breeders, veterinarians, feeders and the maintenance crew. Construction work continues on sites such as the new gorilla pavilion.
