17.12.2018 — The season of Advent, the four weeks leading into Christmas, is the time of Christmas markets where people are purchasing gifts for their loved ones and absorbing the Christmas atmosphere. Where will you find them in Prague? Traditionally, the largest two markets are in Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square) and Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square). This year's theme of the markets is fairy tales. The fairy tale motifs can be seen in the decorations. The daily performances on the stage in the Old Town Square is in line with the fairy tales theme. They will continue right through until the 6th of January 2019.

4.1.2019 — On Sunday, the 6th of January 2019, the Epiphany, you will have the opportunity to witness a special procession of the Three Wise Men (the Three Kings) on camels in the streets of the Czech Capital. The parade will proceed from Malostranské náměstí via Karlův most (Charles Bridge) to the Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square), where the Jakub Jan Ryba's 'Czech Christmas Mass' (Česká mše vánoční) will be played and sung, concluding the procession and the Christmas season.

2.11.2009 — Orchestr The Tap Tap, soubor tělesně postižených studentů z pražského Jedličkova ústavu, čeká zanedlouho ojedinělý koncert v belgické metropoli Bruselu. 18. listopadu bude reprezentovat hlavní město Prahu a celou Českou republiku vystoupením v tamním Českém centru. Za možnost a zkušenost zahrát si mimo hranice naší republiky vděčí orchestr Magistrátu hl. m. Prahy a zejména Pražskému domu v Bruselu, který celou akci pořádá.

15.9.2022 — Nový most pro pěší a cyklisty s pracovním názvem Bike Snake zásadním způsobem zlepší pěší a cyklistickou prostupnost územím, které je dnes možné překonat pouze autem nebo metrem. Napraví se tím historická chyba, kvůli které jsou sídliště Spořilov a celé Jižní Město odtrženy od centra města.
