26.5.2025 — Divadelní festival v anglickém jazyce nabídne od pondělí 26. do soboty 31. května v Praze výběr představení z celého světa, od Kanady po Skotsko, od Japonska po Indii, od Itálie po Austrálii, od Ukrajiny po Tchaj-wan a spoustu dalších.

21.8.2020 — Pandemie COVID19 zasáhla filmový průmysl po celém světě, nevyhnula se ani České republice a Praze, která je mezi domácími i zahraničními filmaři velmi oblíbenou destinací. Nadační fond Praha ve filmu Prague Film Fund dlouhodobě podporuje audiovizuální projekty natáčené v Praze, ve kterých naše hlavní město představuje sebe samo a které mají potenciál podpořit propagaci Prahy v zahraničí. Aktuálně fond vyhlašuje novou výzvu, lhůta pro podávání žádostí o nadační příspěvek je od 1. do 30. září 2020, výsledky hodnocení budou známy do konce roku 2020.

30.6.2020 — Fans of new circus will be pleased to hear that Letní Letná, the popular new circus festival, will take place this year after all, and only part of the programme will be postponed until next year. The 17th annual Letní Letná festival will take place from the 18th to the 25th of August in Letenské sady in Prague. Unfortunately, the programme will not be the same, but it is still well worth a visit!

9.9.2022 — Nadační fond Praha ve filmu Prague Film Fund se mění na Pražský audiovizuální nadační fond. Dnes ráno tento krok schválilo Zastupitelstvo hl. m. Prahy. Nový název reflektuje celosvětovou změnu názvosloví i trendů v audiovizi a vylepšuje se systém využití prostředků z nadačního fondu. Změny v pražském nadačním fondu připravilo město a správní rada nadačního fondu ve spolupráci s Asociací producentů v audiovizi (APA).

27.11.2013 — Nová podoba organizace představuje dynamický a přitom jednoznačný symbol, který má ve spojení s novou marketingovou podobou Prahy pro oblast cestovního ruchu významně posunout vnímání metropole u nás i v zahraničí. Zároveň organizace, spravující oficiální turistický portál hlavního města, přechází na efektivnější doménu.

8.8.2022 — Letošní festival Prague Pride z pohledu programové nabídky daleko předčí předchozí ročníky. Od pondělí 8. srpna až do neděle 14. srpna nabídne v programu více jak 150 akcí na různých místech Prahy. Hlavním festivalovým místem v průběhu celého týdne zůstává Střelecký ostrov. Po tříleté pauze se navíc vrací sobotní průvod. Ten zamíří na Letenskou pláň, kde vyvrcholí hudebním a doprovodným programem.

8.7.2019 — On Saturday, the 13th of July, the oldest European streetball tournament - Prague International Streetball Cup - returns for its 17th year. The competition will take place in the heart of Prague, in Můstek in Wenceslas Square.

19.6.2019 — There will be over 40 unique concerts at the fourth annual pop and rock Metronome Festival Prague. The festival will take place on the 21st and 22nd of June in Prague Exhibition Grounds and this year's programme will once again be filled with music stars, both from the Czech Republic and abroad. A great accompanying programme will be part of the festival. 15.7.2020 — The mayors of the V4 capitals have signed an open letter to the German Chancellor Angela Merkel in which they extended their congratulations to Germany's Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Mayors have also expressed their commitment to the European Green Deal and the need for significantly increased direct green urban funding in the EU's next Multiannual Financial Framework.

7.4.2019 — Until the 3rd of May 2019, in the Baroque Chapel of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague, you will have the opportunity to visit a photographic exhibition of the most renowned Italian photographers documenting the Italian landscape and its development from the 1950s to date.

18.8.2020 — The vulnerable Texas tortoise is a species of tortoise in the Testudinidae family, and one of six species of tortoises in the Gopherus genus, commonly referred to as gopher tortoises. They are native to North America, in southern US and northern Mexico. Prague Zoo, which is the only zoo in Europe that successfully breeds this species, celebrated the birth of a new hatchling in the second half of July. Texas tortoises inhabit deep burrows, which they dig with their strong claws and flattened front legs. However, they prefer to use pre-dug mammal burrows. Prague Zoo has kept a group of these interesting tortoises in the Sonora exhibit in the Pavilion of Beasts and Reptiles since 2007. The first hatchlings were born in 2010.

7.8.2019 — The International festival Letní Letná will bring the magical world of new circus in its various forms to Prague for the sixteenth time. The festival will take place from the 14th of August to the 1st of September.

6.10.2020 — The international literary festival in Prague has been introducing the world's most renowned writers and the best world literature for the past 30 years. The Prague Writer's Festival will take place between the 7th and the 11th of October in the Convent of St. Agnes and Rock Café this year.
