29.2.2020 — Prague City Hall intend to transform the Prague Market into a lively space with a wide range of shops, services and cultural activities for all generations, following the takeover of the market in Holešovice last year. The Prague Market, a former slaughterhouse, offers a rich cultural programme for the occasion of its 125th birthday this year.

17.12.2018 — The season of Advent, the four weeks leading into Christmas, is the time of Christmas markets where people are purchasing gifts for their loved ones and absorbing the Christmas atmosphere. Where will you find them in Prague? Traditionally, the largest two markets are in Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square) and Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square). This year's theme of the markets is fairy tales. The fairy tale motifs can be seen in the decorations. The daily performances on the stage in the Old Town Square is in line with the fairy tales theme. They will continue right through until the 6th of January 2019.

2.4.2019 — Dobrovolnictví, udržitelná móda i domácnost, seniorská módní show, domácí vzdělávání, myslivci, kojení, stárnutí, hnojení i dospívání... To vše se sejde na jubilejním 20. ročníku NGO Marketu, v pražském Foru Karlín, 10. dubna od 11:00 do 19:00 hodin. Návštěvníky i vystavující čeká spousta zajímavostí, radosti z poznání, inspirace i rozšíření obzorů. Vstup zdarma.

30.7.2020 — Whether you want to shop, eat or meet up with friends, Malostranské náměstí (Lesser Town Square) is the place to go on Thursday, the 30th of July. A popular farmers' market will take place on the busy square in the heart of the Czech capital, with a special offer on seafood and Prosecco. Thankfully, the popular market is not overly affected by restrictions, so you can freely enjoy shopping and socialising.
