29.12.2019 — If you come to the National Museum of Agriculture in Prague before the 1st of August 2020, you will be able to admire a photo exhibition called 'Jindřich Štreit and Cycles'. Jindřich Štreit is a world-renowned Czech photographer and according to him, agriculture is his life theme.

30.5.2022 — V roce 2016 děti i dospělé po celém Česku uchvátila originální fotopohádka ZUličníci o rodině dobrosrdečných chlupatých tvorečků. Nyní na ni její autor fotograf Matěj Dereck Hard naváže druhým dílem, který (nejen) dětem poutavou formou ukáže, jak se Ne!chovat v přírodě. Na fotografiích se v něm vedle roztomilých postaviček hlavních hrdinů objeví také herec a hudebník Adam Mišík či rapperka Sharlota. Pohádkovou knížku ZUličníci 2 vydává Hlavní město Praha, konkrétně Odbor ochrany prostředí MHMP, v limitovaném nákladu. Projekt bude mít dobročinný přesah, sto výtisků totiž doputuje do dětských domovů jako symbolický dárek ke Dnu dětí. Poté bude knížka dostupná pro všechny zdarma také v online podobě.

25.6.2021 — Osvětová kampaň hlavního města "Ne! v přírodě" dnes odstartovala. Za cíl si klade upozornit na nevhodné chování návštěvníků lesů a parků v Praze. Jedná se o společný projekt fotografa a art direktora Matěje Derecka Harda a odboru ochrany prostředí Magistrátu hlavního města Prahy. Do kampaně se zapojily různé známé osobnosti, například Jiří Korn, Tonya Graves nebo Eva Samková.

31.3.2021 — Prague City Hall, together with the Brainz Studios creative group, has today presented the globally unique service called Brejlando. It will offer experimental theatre experiences to its spectators in virtual reality (VR). With the help of state-of-the-art technologies and borrowed VR glasses, everyone can immerse in watching selected performances from Prague theatres from the comfort of their homes, as well as from a completely new angle - right from the stage, in close vicinity to the actors. The service is intended to help theatres and their fans overcome these difficult times of limited operation. However, at the same time, the initiators believe that they are establishing a new international trend that can become a permanent part of the theatres' offer.

30.9.2020 — As part of the 10th year of the Fotograf Festival, The Josef Sudek Studio in the Lesser Town of Prague is hosting an exhibition by the German photographer Sabine Reinfeld entitled 'Imaginable I, Obsessive Objects X Obsessive I, Imaginable Objects'. The exhibition takes place until the 11th of October. The aim of the tenth Fotograf Festival is to give space to works that create or address an encounter with the other and to resurrect the function that can be attributed in this way to documentary photography and motion picture.

31.1.2020 — The Stolen Wildlife' ('Ukradená divočina') exhibition was originally created for Ostrava Zoo. After being displayed in Hodonín Zoo, it has now arrived in Prague Zoo, where it can be seen in front of the Education Centre.

7.3.2019 — On the 19th of March 2019, the American Center in Prague will be screening the film '14 Women', along with a discussion with three Czech female MPs on the number of women in politics in the Czech Republic and abroad.

28.12.2017 — The annual New Year's Day firework in Prague will be held in the Czech national colours to mark the upcoming 100th anniversary of the birth of Czechoslovakia and it will be closed with the national anthem.

24.6.2014 — Rok po ničivých povodních, které v létě 2013 zasáhly metropoli, se na Kampě otevírá outdoorová výstava fotografií z loňského ročníku Czech Press Photo s názvem “Praha: Rok po povodni“. Na realizaci výstavy se podílelo také hlavní město Praha.
