15.10.2019 — From the 16th to the 18th of October, Zelenka Festival Prague - Dresden will feature the work of Baroque genius Jan Dismas Zelenka. 15.7.2020 — The mayors of the V4 capitals have signed an open letter to the German Chancellor Angela Merkel in which they extended their congratulations to Germany's Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Mayors have also expressed their commitment to the European Green Deal and the need for significantly increased direct green urban funding in the EU's next Multiannual Financial Framework.

22.9.2020 — 'V Praze jako doma', the campaign supporting tourism in Prague and to reduce the negative economic consequences of coronavirus, has been very successful. Thanks to the campaign, almost 60,000 people came to the Czech capital this summer, mainly from the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Slovakia. There have been very positive responses to the programme. The City of Prague, along with Prague City Tourism, will therefore extend the campaign until the end of December this year.

Prague City Assembly holds a session once a month (or as needed) and its meetings are open to the public. Meetings of the Assembly are convened in writing and made available to the public. Prague City Hall Assembly decides on significant matters that concern Prague. It puts forward bills in the Chamber of Deputies and approves the Prague City budget, both of which have been previously discussed with individual city districts. Additionally, the Assembly approves the City and territorial districts development programs, issues generally binding regulations, grants honorary citizenships, and awards of the City of Prague. In addition to the many successful athletes who will be taking part, you can also look forward to a rich accompanying programme. The ICF World Ranking Race returns to Prague after a very successful first year, and Prague Troja will host the world-class slalom races once again.

31.8.2020 — The city of Prague and the partner organisation 'Praha sportovní' are holding the ninth Sports Clubs Open Month ('Měsíc náborů do sportovních Klubů') in September. The aim of this project is to offer children from Prague the opportunity to try out various sports and pick out their favourite.

30.6.2020 — Fans of new circus will be pleased to hear that Letní Letná, the popular new circus festival, will take place this year after all, and only part of the programme will be postponed until next year. The 17th annual Letní Letná festival will take place from the 18th to the 25th of August in Letenské sady in Prague. Unfortunately, the programme will not be the same, but it is still well worth a visit!
