Prague will systematically address the cultivation of nightlife
28.1.2019 — Prague City Council approved the members of a new Commission for the Night Mayor, the head of which will be Jan Štern. The commission's main goal will be to systematically work on long-term solutions for Prague's nightlife, to keep it within reasonable limits and to cultivate it at the same time. Members of this Commission will include representatives of Prague 1 and of the Municipal Police, as well as representatives of night clubs and organizers of cultural events. The aim is, on one hand, to reduce negative impacts of nightlife on the citizens of Prague, and on the other hand, to not damage the prosperity of the city and its inhabitants.
Prague Invites Spectators Back into Theatres Through Virtual Reality
31.3.2021 — Prague City Hall, together with the Brainz Studios creative group, has today presented the globally unique service called Brejlando. It will offer experimental theatre experiences to its spectators in virtual reality (VR). With the help of state-of-the-art technologies and borrowed VR glasses, everyone can immerse in watching selected performances from Prague theatres from the comfort of their homes, as well as from a completely new angle - right from the stage, in close vicinity to the actors. The service is intended to help theatres and their fans overcome these difficult times of limited operation. However, at the same time, the initiators believe that they are establishing a new international trend that can become a permanent part of the theatres' offer.
Zábradlí v březnu uvede novinku Obscura
22.2.2022 — Na 12. března se v Divadle Na zábradlí připravuje nová inscenace tvůrčího tandemu Mikulášek-Viceníková. Dostala název Obscura a věnuje se tématu experimentů s lidským chováním.
Praha bude tlačit na větší odstřel přemnožených divokých prasat
23.2.2017 — Radní hl. m. Prahy pro oblast životního prostředí Jana Plamínková chce prostřednictvím městské organizace Lesy hl. m. Prahy tlačit na myslivecká sdružení, která mají pronajaté honitby na území hlavního města, aby se o tato území lépe starala a svoji pozornost věnovala především přemnoženým stavům černé zvěře. Pokud se tak nestane, město může přistoupit až ke zrušení nájmu honiteb.
Kühnův dětský sbor pokřtí nové profilové CD
11.4.2014 — Nejstarší český dětský sbor čeká velká událost - vydává novou profilovou desku, která zahrnuje hned dvě CD s tím nejlepším ze světského i duchovního repertoáru sboru. Křest desky se uskuteční v rámci slavnostního koncertu 22. dubna od 19:30 v Anežském klášteře, kde zazní (nejen) speciální výběr z natočených skladeb.
Praha navýší počet sběrných dvorů a Reuse pointů
28.6.2023 — Rada hl. m. Prahy na pondělním zasedání schválila smlouvy na zajištění provozu devíti sběrných dvorů. Sběrné dvory bude pro hlavní město provozovat společnost Pražské služby, a.s., v režimu inhouse. Díky tomu mohou Pražané od 1. července bezplatně odkládat komunální odpad na celkem 20 sběrných dvorech. Zvýší se také počet Reuse pointů, nově jich bude k dispozici sedm.
