Music Walks on Sundays at Prague Zoo
14.6.2020 — 'Hudební vycházky' (Music Walks) are outdoor classical music concerts which take place in Prague Zoo in front of Gočár's Houses. After fourteen successful years, the event has become a traditional part of summer at the zoo. Not only animal lovers, but also classical music fans, will be at the zoo every Sunday until the beginning of October. The open-air concerts will take place once again in front of Gočár's Houses at the top of the zoo for two hours on Sundays. More and more music lovers seek out the event for its informal setting and quality music.
Pražští symfonikové představili program 91. sezóny s nastupujícím šéfdirigentem Tomášem Netopilem
11.4.2025 — V září 2025 se šéfdirigentem a hudebním ředitelem Pražských symfoniků stane Tomáš Netopil. Na dnešní tiskové konferenci v Obecním domě spolu s ředitelem orchestru Danielem Sobotkou a dramaturgem Martinem Rudovským představili program sezóny 2025/2026, která začne Mahlerovou První symfonií „Titán“. Symfonický orchestr hl. m. Prahy FOK též dnes zahájil prodej vstupenek a abonmá na novou sezónu.
Primátor Pavel Bém předal první cenu v soutěži „Prag.art Award 07“
17.9.2007 — Pražský primátor Pavel Bém se dnes zúčastnil slavnostního vyhlášení vítěze mezinárodní soutěže mladých umělců „prag.art award 07“ v rámci festivalu Sculpture Grande Prague. Vítězem soutěže se stal Jan Kadlec, který převzal od primátora symbolický šek ve výši 5 000 EUR. Pavel Bém, pod jehož záštitou se festival koná, byl rovněž členem mezinárodní poroty, která díla umělců hodnotila.

24.5.2019 — From May to September, you will not only hear tigers' roars and parrots' squawks, but also classical music at Prague Zoo. 'Hudební procházky' (Music Walks) will take place every Sunday at 1pm in Gočár's Houses.
Lukáš Rittstein’s works at the Sculpture Line festival
23.8.2020 — The Sculpture Line is a festival that transforms squares, streets, parks and other public spaces into open-air galleries. The festival is taking place in Prague and other Czech cities and towns for the sixth time. Sculpture Line is the largest event in the Czech Republic that supports the connection between sculpture and public space and, in doing so, expands the cultural and artistic potential of public spaces, bringing emotion into public spaces and exploring new possibilities. The main idea of the long-term art project is to introduce contemporary art to both residents and tourists, and to enhance the social function of public spaces.

Dvořákova Praha International Music Festival promises two weeks of beautiful music
8.9.2019 — The twelfth year of one of the biggest festivals of classical music in the Czech Republic will welcome the famous conductors Zubin Mehta and Neeme Järvi. Top soloists, internationally recognised orchestras and chamber ensembles will also meet on stage. Dvořákova Praha International Music Festival takes place from the 8th to the 23rd of September.
