Miroslav Svítek
Miroslav Svítek is a member of the Scientific Board of the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (CIIRC), Dean Emerite of the Faculty of Transport of the Czech Technical University (Czech Republic In 1996, he received the Ph.D. degree at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. Since 2008, he has been Full professor in engineering informatics at Faculty of Transportation Sciences, Czech Technical University in Prague. In 2010 – 2018 he was a member of Department of Transport Telematics, Czech Technical University in Prague. Since 2018, he has been Visiting professor of smart cities at University of Texas at El Paso, USA. He is a member of Engineering academy of the Czech Republic, Chairman of clean mobility working group at Czech Business Council for Sustainable Development, member of Prague Smart City Committee and a member of Intelligent Transport Committee at Ministry of transportation of the Czech Republic. Since 2015, he has been historically the first president of Czech Smart City Cluster (CSCC). In 2019, he received the award Personality of Smart City.
