Museum prepares children’s art competition

The National Museum of Agriculture in Prague has organised an art competition for children who have to stay home due to quarantine measures.

The museum regularly organises activities for children, including workshops and other activities. Interactive exhibitions teach children about the land, fishing and hunting with games, and there is even a rural garden with live animals for children to learn about in the museum.

Do you miss the museum? Paint a picture of it

No wonder children miss the temporarily closed museum. Nevertheless, they can remember it by drawing or painting pictures. The National Museum of Agriculture has launched an art competition for children under eighteen years old. To enter, they need to draw or paint a picture of what they miss in the museum and what they are looking forward to seeing once it reopens. Will it be tractors and other machines, animals, or maybe even the water vortex?

Prize tickets

You can scan or take pictures of the children’s art with the theme of the museum and send it to this e-mail address: lektor@nzm.cz.

In the email, you need to include the child's first name and age. All creations can be seen at the museum’s website and the first submitted images are already there. Every week, there will be a draw and the three winning pictures will be awarded with a gift and a family ticket for when the National Museum of Agriculture reopens.
