Parliamentary Election 2017

Elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament is scheduled to be held in the Czech Republic on 20 and 21 October 2017.

Citizens will elect 200 deputies. Every Czech citizen over 21 years old can run in the election, and every citizen who has turned 18 can vote.

Voting takes place in permanent electoral districts. Czech citizens can also vote abroad at Czech embassies. Mail-in or electronic voting are not used in the Czech Republic.
