City of Prague’s new website informs about upcoming COVID-19 test dates
A new website was launched on the 5th of October which gives information on the next available testing dates for COVID-19 in Prague and is also connected to the booking systems for individual testing clinics. The website is designed for everyone who wants to get tested, both for those with a medical certificate and for people who want to check the average waiting times at selected testing sites.
A team of data analysts collaborated to create the website https://covid.praha.eu/. Information on testing sites in the Central Bohemian Region will also be added in time. The website can even be visited on mobile phone browsers.
“Our aim is to prevent long queues during testing, and so I welcome the willingness of the testing sites in Prague to regularly share information about the average waiting times for testing. I believe that this website, where the residents of Prague can sign up for tests, will make it easier for people to get tested during these challenging times,” Zdeněk Hřib, Mayor of Prague, said.
