With many terraces, pavilions, orangeries and gloriettes, they resemble Italian Renaissance gardens. They were created in the 18th century and important architects and artists took part in their formation.
Restorations
Currently, Ledeburg Garden and Small Palffy Garden are closed to the public due to ongoing restorations.
Access to the gardens
The gardens are accessible from Valdštejnská Street near the Senate of the Czech Republic, approximately 300 metres from the Malostranská metro station. The upper entrance from Prague Castle was closed due to security measures.
Visitors to the gardens are asked to comply with all valid restrictions and health and safety instructions related to the COVID-19 protection, and to stay only in parts of the gardens accessibe to the public.
