Prague launches a new campaign to tackle coronavirus.
The city of Prague will launch a new campaign from Monday, the 26th of October, showing the faces of the frontline workers fighting the pandemic every day.
The campaign points out that basic rules and restrictions, including wearing facemasks, hand-washing and social distancing, are the most effective ways to limit the spread of the virus. The campaign reminds us that our behaviour affects not only the health of ourselves, but also the health of others – a particularly important message now, when the numbers of sick and quarantined are growing again.
The new campaign ‘Chraňte sebe i ostatní’ (‘Protect yourself and others’) is based on positive messages and photographs of health workers, police officers, municipal police officers, firefighters and the Czech Red Cross members. As was the case in the spring, they are the symbols of commitment during the pandemic. By being responsible in compliance with safety measures, we also protect their health.
