To and From the City Centre
There are many options for getting to and from Prague Airport. You have a choice between personal transport solutions, private shuttle services, taxis or public bus services.
- Private hire taxis are provided by the airport’s official partner, FIX TAXI, guaranteeing a fast and comfortable journey just to anywhere in Prague. You will spot them easily as they all are Volkswagen Passat cars with a Visa Credit Card advert placed on their doors. A journey to the city centre costs anything from 120 to 770 Czech crowns depending on your destination (This is approximately a third more than you would pay with a normal city taxi.). All cars are air-conditioned.
- CEDAZ offers private shuttle services leaving for the city centre every 30 minutes and is operated daily from 6 am until 9 p.m. The ticket costs 90 CZK and can be purchased from the van driver.
- WELCOME is a tourist shuttle leaving the airport for the city centre every half an hour. It operates daily from 8.30 am until 7 pm and the ticket costs 95 CZK.
- Public transport buses stop directly in front of the entrance/exit of terminals. Bus 119 leaves every 10 minutes from 4.30 am until 11.30 pm operating to and from nearest tube station Dejvická (called green line or A). The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once on a bus, do not forget to use a 20 crown public transport ticket, which can be purchased at the yellow ticket machine on the bus stop platform.
