Continuity

We are fully aware of the importance of the EBA’s work and we are committed to host the agency at the moment of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union. We are well aware of the complexity of relocation and want to make the process as smooth as possible. We have extensive prior experience from relocating the GSA to Prague. As such we are well aware of potential pitfalls and stand ready to face them. We have created the function of the Government Commissioner for the Candidature for the Relocation of the EBA to the Czech Republic. The Commissioner answers directly to the Prime Minister and will be fully available to ensure the regular and uninterrupted functioning of the EBA during the relocation. The Government Commissioner is fully available to you during all phases of the relocation and stands ready to answer any potential questions you may have about the process. The premises we have selected are under construction now and will be available for the EBA at the beginning of 2019. The developer of the premises is ready to accommodate the EBA’s specific wishes during construction so as to ensure the location is tailored to the EBA’s requirements.
